2. Narcissists may try to displace their frustrations on things.
When an empath ignores a narcissist, the narcissist may feel enraged and out of control. They feel as though their ego has been threatened and their authority has been questioned. For them to feel as though they have regained control, they will displace their anger and frustrations on things and objects in the house. They may try to break vases and other breakable objects such as plates and glasses. They may try to tumble furniture and hurl things around.
An empath may feel threatened and in danger and will then give in to the lashing out of the narcissist. However, the best way to deal with this situation is to leave the house and leave the narcissist alone. This may anger the narcissist even more, but at least the empath will be safe.

Narcissists will get very annoying as they may try to reach out to the empath, either via phone, message or even by visiting the empath at any time of the day even at midnight or dawn. They will try to bring up conversations that may lead to arguments at the wee hours of the night leaving the empath restless and drained.
