7. Guilt-Tripping.
Have you ever experienced the feeling of guilt because your ex-partner reminded you of the things they did for your relationship? This is called guilt-tripping by the narcissist. They make you feel guilty and make your conscience get the better of you. This is the method where narcissists take advantage because they think that you have a strong sense of empathy and understanding.
This method also serves them as a regular routine in order for them to be assured of you not leaving them. So even if you discard the narcissist, they still do the same things over and over until they make you submit. And as someone who is understanding, you will also fall prey to the narcissist trap.
8. Post-Breakup Triangulation.
Upon ghosting the narcissist, and when they got the chance in finding you, they will make this post-breakup triangulation method in order for you to think of going back to your narcissistic ex-partner. They will then take this advantage in making you submit to them back and to be used by them. You will fall into their trap in order to make you rekindle all the times you had with them.
This method is effective if you still have feelings for your narcissistic ex-partner. This is because post-breakup triangulation is a method where they will show you their new partners and make you think that what they have is better than what you had. It’s easy to fall prey to this method because of your feelings towards the narcissist, so better that you stay away from the narcissist after ghosting them.
