Narcissists need a narcissistic supply. They’re drug addicts and the drug they are addicted to is a narcissistic supply, which is simply the attention and adoration of other people.
So for example, they might strike up a conversation with you, and pretty soon, you realize they are dominating the conversation, talking about themselves, and how great they are, and ignoring or oblivious to the fact that a conversation usually consists of other people joining in. insurance quotes
That’s a huge red flag. They are attention seekers, and they desire loads of praise. Many times, if they are not or cannot seem to get the level of attention they want from a specific group of people, let’s say at a party, they will prowl around to other groups to try and see if they can get their undistracted attention. So be paying attention to this because it’s definitely an indicator.
2. Being charismatic and charming
They will usually be charismatic and charming, especially when you just meet them. Narcissists have mastered the art of charisma. They can be very alluring and captivating. Sometimes, you might even feel a magnetic attraction to them. They are incredibly good at flirting and zeroing in on a target that they find appealing. Their physical presence and gaze alone can create a charge of energy in a room. They are super charming and seem to have a confidence that is so intriguing.
