– How to reinvent yourself after narcissistic abuse?

It goes without saying that those of us who have been on the receiving end of empathy-impaired emotional manipulators who feel entitled to target, exploit, harm, and smear, the way the destructive narcissist does, well, to say we’ve had our self-esteem, our self-image, and our confidence pummeled into the dirt would be an understatement. Even those of us who manage to be high functioning in other areas of our lives, pay a serious price in terms of standing still and allowing ourselves to be scapegoated and abused the way many of us have for as long as we have.

Now, that said, the good news is, there is a way out. The detrimental effects of our own untreated codependency and adult child syndrome combined with all the harm the narcissistic perpetrators have inflicted, well, that doesn’t have to be the end of the story. We can, and frankly, we must rise from the ashes, reclaim our power, and step into a whole new reality.

Being victimized at any age does not mean that we have to identify as a victim and, as a consequence, remain in that low vibrational place. There are some very specific things that we can do to literally reinvent ourselves and fully revolutionize our lives after narcissistic abuse.
