Secondly, there is discontentment in their work or professional life. Because not only do they get bored with their relationships, but they also get bored with their achievements. So, after landing that so-called dream job, it doesn’t take long before the Narcissist is disgruntled and unsatisfied. It doesn’t take long before they start looking for other ways the company can benefit them.
And it’s because the Narcissist never feels valued enough. They can have the most degrees, and the best job with the best perks but still want more. They would still feel like they are missing out on something and should either be getting more money or more benefits. This is why Narcissists are known to jump from one job or career to the next. This is why they may also get fired because they try to cheat or take advantage of the company in some way.

If they are able to secretly cheat the company out of work or wages, they will do it. The Narcissist will only stay in a job for a considerable amount of time if they are able to successfully exploit that company. But even then, they will still get bored and will always want more.
