Number 6: Not being able to control their emotions.

Narcissists tend to be very emotional; they’re often prone to letting their emotions dictate their behavior. They have to regret not being able to control their emotions. They want you to believe they are the best of people, but inside, they hate themselves for being so fake.

Narcissists have a hard time mainly controlling their anger and frustration; they usually get themselves in trouble because they quickly lost their tempers. That’s because narcissists are more likely to react emotionally when triggered. They don’t like feeling out of control in any, which is why not being able to control their emotions is one of the things that narcissists regret.

Number 7: Not being able to manipulate other people.

Narcissists are experts at manipulating others into doing what they want and don’t want to lose that ability. They are often unsatisfied with their lives and feel like they’re missing something. They don’t necessarily regret any of the negative things they’ve done. Still, narcissists wish they could be more manipulative, making them feel better about themselves.

Being able to manipulate other people means being able to take control of their lives. The more they can manipulate someone, the more a narcissist feels powerful. Most of the time, their attempts at manipulation don’t work very well, making them feel worse about themselves than ever before. They may regret not being able to manipulate their children or spouses; they may regret not manipulating a teacher into giving them a better grade or a job interviewer into hiring them.

Number 8: Not having more money, power, and influence.

Narcissists wish they had more money, power, and influence. It’s not that they want to be rich, they want to be like rich people; powerful and influential. They envy people in positions of power and authority who get what they want with little effort. Even though narcissists know it takes years of hard work to get where those people are, they still wish for something easier than what it takes to get there.

Narcissists constantly seek ways to increase their wealth, status, and influence over others. They want to be the center of attention and control everything around them. They feel they deserve these things because they believe they are superior to others.
