9. They will create drama.
Narcissists are drama kings and queens. They have to be the center of attention and will do whatever it takes to ensure they are the focus of any situation. You will feel like your life is a soap opera and that your partner is the lead actor.
They still find ways to make you feel guilty or responsible for their actions if you’re not around. This might mean they start an argument over something as simple as a parking space or a restaurant reservation. They also like to play the victim and make sure that everyone knows how badly they are being treated by others.
10. They will criticize everything you do.
Narcissists will act like they’re all about your happiness, but once you’ve done something nice for them, they’ll turn around and say it was all wrong or wasn’t enough. You know how it goes: you go out of your way to make them happy, and then they turn around and make you feel like crap for it.
When you’re in a relationship with a narcissist, it can feel like they’re always on your case about one thing or another. If you’re not around, they’ll tell their friends how disappointed they were in you because of something small that happened. Narcissists even complained about the things that never actually happened.

They will criticize your clothes, your hair, and your weight. They will tell your friends that you’re too fat or too skinny; they will tell them that you have bad taste in clothes, look like a slob, or dress like a hooker. Narcissists still say anything they can to make themselves feel better about themselves. They want to make sure everybody knows how inadequate they are as a person compared to them.
If you’re with a narcissist, it’s important to know what they do when you’re not there. Narcissists can be a little bit more when you’re not there: they can be rude, mean, or just plain weird without worrying about the consequences of their actions. They don’t have to pretend to be nice and agreeable because they know you won’t see them.
