3. They may resort to intimidation in order to get you back
They may show up at your house in a narcissistic rage and demand that you are going to do whatever they say. When we go no contact, this can become a scary time for a while, so you need to anticipate the narcissist becoming enraged and utilizing fear and intimidation to get you back in line with what they want, which is for you to remain loyal and allow them to abuse and exploit you.
So if the narcissist shows up at your house or at work, do not be afraid to call the police. I always encourage my clients to send the narcissist a text or an email before they block them, which states, do not contact me again, I want no contact with you. I like for them to do this to have in case the police have to be called or if it becomes necessary to get a restraining order. That way, we have written dated proof that we have told the narcissist to stop contacting us.
