3. Your Secrets.
When it comes to knowing your secrets, this is the creme de la creme of information that the Narcissist works hard to get. In the present moment, your confiding in the Narcissist creates an even greater bond between the both of you. The fact that you were able to open up and entrust them with any private or sensitive information, confirms that there is a level of trust there that is not usually given to just anyone.
The Narcissist does have their way of drawing out our secrets and one of them is basically them doing it first. This is where they share something with you which they would express to be super confidential in order to appear transparent or open. But it is a trap for you to in turn confide in them. So, even though at that moment it can seem like such a bonding experience, in the future, they will weaponize those secrets against you.
Because whatever you tell a Narcissist, they will surely try to use it against you and your secrets are no different. But as we can see the Narcissist tries to win us over on every level. They manipulate, lie and seduce from the very beginning. They try to score as many points as they can. They try to appear as trustworthy and honest as they can. And once they know what you like, they repeat those words and actions to cement them into our minds. Because when the Narcissist has decided that you are the one they want, they are willing to put in the work to get what they want.
