10. A Strong First Impression.
At the early stages of dating, narcissists will only show their good side to their partners; the typical extent “first impression” without realizing the narcissist already laying the groundwork to accomplish his/her true motives.
Narcissists only look out for their own well-being, and they would show a friendly and neutral expression in the early stages of courtship. When things go as they expect, they then execute their real plan. Did you experience this kind of treatment from someone?
9. Feeding Their Ego.
As the relationship starts to progress towards the middle, this is when the narcissist starts to brag, boast, and show off about themselves. They slowly feed their ego in order to fuel themselves to do more things that can only benefit them. Their purpose in bringing their partners to parties or social gatherings is so that they can use them to brag to their friends that they have a partner and that they are the best. Do you know anyone who is of this character? If so, you better think to distance yourself from them.
