Narcissists are creatures of darkness who are attracted to people of light. That’s why there are so many non-narcissists who fall prey to these vicious heartless creatures. It’s because we have what they crave, light, goodness, a soul that has not been corrupted with darkness. That’s why we are literally hunted and sought after.
Their aim is to steal the light within us, blackout our lives with darkness, our sincerity, honesty, and goodness make them uneasy. It reminds them that something is wrong with them. So if they can make us more like them, their mission has been accomplished. But when it comes to two narcissists coming together, it’s for other superficial purposes.
First of all, covert narcissists are not attracted to overt narcissists. Covert narcissists see the overt as foolish, people who attract too much negative attention. Overt narcissists are people they will not want to be associated with.
Covert narcissists think they are smarter, more clever with their evilness as they don’t reveal their cards to the masses as the overt narcissist does. But if the overt narcissist has something the covert narcissist wants, which is usually money, they will manipulate them out of it as fast as they can, and drop them even faster. So the union of an overt and covert narcissist is very unlikely, even on a friendship level.
