 Narcissists make not only their partners but society believe that they are moral, upright, and honest. The greater narcissist will volunteer information about cheating exes to make you believe they will never do that to you. They will use your empathy against you, making you feel sorry for them.

 All the stories about an abusive childhood or absent fathers trick your humanity to want to be available for them. A narcissist’s words are often absolute. They paint a picture of a perfect human being often too good to be true. If you are truly a decent and honest person, you won’t need to reaffirm these qualities.

 2. Narcissists Are Notorious For Flaking Out On Plans.

 They tend to disappear often without a word or cancel plans at the last minute or make plans with you at the last minute. They find it offensive when you change plans or are not available for their impulses. Narcissists only stick to plans that meet their self-interest.

Be wary of someone who constantly cancels on you and is unreachable for hours or days on end. There is no such thing as reliability or honesty with a narcissist. They place their multiple romantic prospects on rotation to suit their needs on impulse. And they are indifferent to the pain or inconvenience they cause their partners when they suddenly pull out of plans or stand you up.
