Number 6: They hate you because of who you are.
They’re jealous of your successes and accomplishments, and their desire to be the center of attention means that they’ll do anything to undermine everything you have. They may also despise your kindness, empathy, warmth, and generosity, which these qualities make them feel inferior.
Narcissists don’t like themselves very much, they are incredibly insecure. They don’t know what makes them happy or fulfilled, so they look for validation from others instead of finding it within themselves. They constantly compare themselves to others, so they try to tear other people down to feel better about themselves. They’ll often take advantage of others to get what they want.

Number 7: They hate you because you don’t let them control and manipulate you.
Narcissists are notorious for trying to control and manipulate their friends, family, and romantic partners. They do this because they feel entitled to treat others as they please and believe it’s your job to put up with it. They need to completely control everyone around them, and they will go to any length to make sure that happens. However, some people don’t allow themselves to be manipulated by narcissists. This makes the narcissists feel small, weak, and Powerless, something they cannot tolerate under any circumstances.
When a narcissist meets someone, they immediately evaluate that person’s usefulness to them. They might be curious about what they can get out of the relationship, but most likely, they are looking at how much they can use the other person for their game. When narcissists meet someone who won’t let themselves be used or manipulated, who has their mind and opinions, they feel threatened. They will often try to destroy that relationship before it gets started.
