3. No contact.

Another thing that hurts a narcissist is no contact. So, when you decide, regardless of what they think about you or they want you to think about you, when you go no contact, it does hurt them because they expect you to always want to go back to always want them in your life. So, again, this is another way to show that they are insignificant to you. They don’t matter. You are blocking them, and you’re just going about your life, and you’re going to be happy. And if they have no access to you, for all they know, you are living your best life.

So, what this does really is it triggers their insecurities because even though they don’t want you to know it, even though they don’t want to admit it to themselves, narcissists are deeply insecure people. This is what that grandiose or that false self is all about.

But if you can show them, whether it’s true or not, if you can show them that you can be happy without them, that you actually can live your best life, it absolutely will be painful to a narcissist.

5. Exposing them.

So, this next one is where a lot of people get caught up when they’re looking for revenge, and that is exposing the narcissist. Now, this is one I don’t recommend doing on purpose because narcissists can be very vindictive, and we know that they lack empathy. So, the line that they’re willing to cross is a lot farther than where most people will go. And also, exposing a narcissist for revenge will very much get your hands dirty. But nonetheless, there are some times when we, people, do get away with exposing the narcissist.
