5. Lack of admiration.
Narcissistic people thrive off that validation and attention, and being recognized as superior, great, and better than everybody else. So, when they’re no longer getting the attention they’re entitled to, this threatens their fragile ego, their self-esteem. And more often than not, they will go all out to seek a new source of supply to impress strangers, to validate themselves that they’re not the ones with the issue, it’s everybody else with the issue.

While they’re busy blaming everybody else for their issues, they never resolve their issues; they just repeat them and cause so many issues in those around them. However, those around them have the ability to reflect, recognize, and work on themselves, and better themselves. We all make mistakes, we all fail, so failure is our first attempt in learning. Those who can recognize, develop, and grow can redirect themselves.
Narcissistic people just continue trying to exploit people, and they lack the empathy to care for how their behavior affects people.
