 Narcissists hate being caught lying because it exposes their true nature as manipulative and self-serving individuals who are only out for themselves. They’ll do everything in their power to avoid this confrontation because it makes them feel exposed and vulnerable, which is something they’re uncomfortable with.

 Number 2: When you criticize or judge their appearance.

 Narcissists are highly sensitive to criticism and judgment, so they will not take it well if you criticize their appearance. They are obsessed with appearance and can’t stand it when someone points out that they’re not perfect. They often use their appearance to make themselves feel better, so any comments about it can be very hurtful.

 Narcissists are often insecure about their physical appearance, and any kind of disapproval or judgment can be read as a personal attack. If you’re going to talk about their appearance, make sure to do so in a way that doesn’t make them feel like you’re trying to hurt them. For example, say something like: “I’ve noticed that you’ve been wearing the same outfit for the past few days” or “You look tired today.”
