4. Changes of consciousness.
This can include amnesia of the traumatic event or dissociation, which occurs when you lose touch with your emotions or body. You will lose yourself in the process of having one of the symptoms of CPTSD. Changes in your consciousness are also like losing your attachment to your physical and emotional self. You will notice that your subconscious is the one controlling your body and the decisions you make in life.
So do not fall for this symptom and try to have control over your body while you still have it. It’s better to maintain your composure and face the battle that is in front rather than submitting yourself to your subconscious and regretting the things you did later.

3. Cutting yourself from your friends and family.
When distancing yourself from your friends and family, do you cut ties with them permanently? Do you want to face your problems alone? It’s better to have your family and most trusted friends by your side when you open up to them when you are experiencing symptoms of CPTSD. This affects them greatly as you are going to cut them off from your contacts directly.
As much as possible, consider the circumstances that you will face once you cut ties with your family and friends. You’ll have more hardships to come in your life. So better to stay in touch with them in order for you to have updates. They will be the first ones to help you in this journey.
