9. Respectful.
The ninth trait or quality is to be respectful or good-mannered. Respect is very important to the narcissist, you need to watch your tone and actions with them at all times. They expect a level of respect that they do not deserve as they want you to suffer in silence. They can be rude, disrespectful, and hurtful, but you dare not retaliate or speak out of turn.

10. Loyal.
And last but not least, the tenth quality narcissist desire is loyalty. Narcissists are difficult people to love and live with, and in spite of their abuse and cruel behaviors, they want us to stay by their side. They want to be able to leave us and push us away, and then, for us to take them back when they are ready. They want us to be on call whenever they need us. They want us to drop everything and everyone else to stand by their side.
What we can take from all this is that the narcissist wants, or devotion, love, respect, empathy, strength, trust, or light, in return, for pain, heartache, and grief. They basically want the best from us and they take all good qualities and exploit them for their own benefit. Narcissists are attracted to all that is good and light, only to contaminate it with darkness. Although narcissists are drawn to these things, do not stop being these things. Instead, just be more careful and wise about who you give in to.
