Many people find the combination of being quiet or reserved and confident very appealing, and narcissists are no different. That confidence, of course, is something they are going to rip away from you, and I think they just like the challenge of being able to do that.

We all know that this is a very much desired trait as narcissists lack it themselves. Narcissists think empathy makes us weak and easier to manipulate. 5. Trustworthy.
Funnily enough, narcissists want people who they can trust and depend on. They will not give you the same in return, of course, but it’s all about securing their best interest and making sure that they are not being cheated on or out of anything.
