3. Won’t Stop Following You.
Aside from stalking, narcissists tend to monitor your every move the moment they find you. They keep on following you to every place you go and find out what’s your new daily routine. Once they get a hold of your new routine, they then approach you in order to manipulate you again like what they did to you the moment you started to date.
This is the achievement for the narcissist themselves to win over you again in a forceful manner. One thing is certain is that they succeed in getting you back, and they will never let you go again. They will only stop following or manipulating you if they see to it that you are no longer useful to them. We cannot guarantee that when we ghost our narcissistic ex-partner we are safe. So better expect them to come after you and be ready once they will find you.
4. Will Lose Control of Themselves.
An extinction burst is a term used to describe the darkness before the morning, the desperate last gasp. When a preferred form of supply like intimidation, seduction, or manipulation encounters resistance, the undesirable behavior will escalate in an attempt to restart the supply. However, once the person using the behavior realizes that it isn’t going to work this time, the habit will either stop, or the person doing it will double down until they are penalized.
Narcissists, on the other hand, never learn; instead, they slink away to lick their wounds and engage in mental gymnastics until the obvious defeat is turned into a victory. Since the narcissist will lose control of themselves if they are being ghosted.
