1. Love bombing!
They are going to try and love bomb these new ideas you have about them away. Love bombing has traditionally worked it for them in the past, so it will usually be the first thing they go to and try, confuse, and manipulate you into completely abandoning these new beliefs you have about them.
2. Gaslighting you
If the love-bombing didn’t work and you aren’t succumbing to their charm, then they will move right into gaslighting you. They will try and manipulate your perceptions and your interpretation of what you have concluded about them. They may tell you that they didn’t do what you think they did or that your memories of whatever happened are wrong.
They might even go so far as to say that you’re paranoid, or a drama queen or they might tell you how stupid you are for coming to such a ridiculous conclusion about who they truly are. But one thing is for sure, you can expect tons of gaslighting.
