4. Blame and shame others
The female covert narcissist loves to blame and shame other people. This serves her goals in all aspects. Because she is able to control others using shame and blame, and it makes her feel like she is in a powerful superior position because she’s the one dishing out the shame blame. So it feeds her ego and like all narcissists. The name of the game is, always control.
She will have a more gentle approach to shaming and blaming than the overt narcissist. Or she might try and position herself as being the victim of your behavior, in order to shame and blame you. But one way or the other, she will get the message to you that you are to blame and you should be ashamed of yourself.
5. Withholds, love, attention, and affection
The female covert narcissist withholds, love, attention, and affection to get what she wants. I cannot stress this one enough, but she is a master at this. If you do something that she is displeased with, you’re going to know about it because she is going to become very cold and withdrawn for you, or she might give you the silent treatment, and she might cut you off from any kind of love affection or sex.
