However, two covert narcissists are more likely, and this is because covert narcissists usually present an image of success, affluence, and prestige. Another covert narcissist will have no issues having someone like that in their corner or on their arm. They do find each other sexually attractive and do not mind having them as friends with benefits, but the ideal primary supply usually is a non-narcissist.
The interesting thing is that when to covert narcissists come together, you can bet that one of them is a malignant covert narcissist, while the other is a low-level covert narcissist. The malignant narcissist in particular is very good at sniffing out other covert narcissists, while at the same time manipulating them into not realizing their true identity until it is too late.
The lower-level narcissist in the light of a malignant covert narcissist is just like someone who is not a narcissist at all. They are not prepared for what’s coming, they can sense something maybe a bit off, but they cannot put their finger on it. And this is why I’ve said before that narcissists usually bring judgment on other narcissists. There is always a narcissist that thinks there are bigger, badder, and darker. The only reason a covert narcissist will try to get with another covert narcissist is if they have something substantial that they want and because they see everyone is competition, and they all think they are smarter and better than everyone else. They like the challenge of all manipular in each other.
