Narcissists are envious and proud- And they try to conceal this behind their fake modesty and desire to progress in life. They love success. They love money. They love acquiring stuff that will make them look good and impress others around them. The Narcissist is not only envious, they want to be envied also. They want you to admire them and look up to them. They don’t want you to have more than them or be more successful than they are. They don’t even want you to be equal to them.
So, just knowing that someone in their circle or social group is more successful than they are is enough to make a Narcissist mad. But even when the Narcissist appears to have it all, even better than everyone else around them, they are still not satisfied. How deep does this dissatisfaction go? Well, this is what we are going to get into today.
