Number 1: They hate you because you have a life they want to have.
Narcissists are people who love themselves but hate everybody else. They hate you because you have a life they want to have. They want to be able to do what you do, feel how you feel, and get the same kind of attention as you do. They want to be the best at everything, and seeing someone better than them at something makes them feel like a failure. Narcissists want to be successful, but they can’t do it without other people. They will do anything to win, even if it means hurting someone. They end up hating those successful people because they see them as competition and want to tear them down so they can rise in their place.
