#4: I miss you text.

And they’ll do this a lot on the dating apps. They have a conversation with you on day one. And then the next day, you get the text, “I miss you.” Now, they don’t even know you, and they’re telling you they miss you. It’s all manipulation. This is what they’re doing. They’re manipulating you. Again, it’s part of the lovebombing. So you’ll definitely get a text something like, “I miss you.” Or a narcissist may do this when they know they’ve ghosted you or disappeared on you and then you get the text, “I miss you.” This is part of that intermittent reinforcement.

Now they’re going to get you thinking about them dangling a carrot in front of you, keeping you hooked in the relationship. All they have to do is tell you, “I miss you,” Or “I love you,” or something like that. And people just melt for that because they want it so badly. They want to be loved. And the narcissist just drops these love bombs. Meanwhile, the narcissist is playing all their games. They’re playing games with you, gaslighting you, and they come back around and they send these little things because they want to keep you hooked. That’s what it is. They want to keep you hooked.

#5: How was your day?

And they do this again on the dating apps. They sit there and they text you and they say, “How was your day?” Now this narcissist has not asked you any personal questions. Why? Because they don’t care. They’re stringing you along. This narcissist is stringing you along, breadcrumbing you. So they’ve got to say something and they love to text, “How was your day?”

Now, understand this. They really don’t care how your day was. They couldn’t give a damn how your day was, but they’re trying to pretend like they care how your day was. So they’ll just send a simple text, how was your day? And then you may respond and then again, they may switch the conversation back on to them because this is what narcissists do. They want to switch the conversation back on to them and talk about themselves most of the time.
