We know that all narcissists are insecure, but they portray an image of confidence and even know it all, but behind all that is a scared, insecure, and emotionally stunted individual. With the female narcissist, she has no issues displaying her insecurities to her partners or whichever victim she is trying to get close to.
Because the female narcissist has realized that showing vulnerability in this area to their significant other is a guaranteed way of supply, and they also use it to justify some naughty behaviors, such as flirting, having numerous male friends, and not liking other women.
2. Plays A Damsel In Distress.
The second secret of the female narcissist is that she will play the damsel in distress. Who needs a knight or a prince charming to save her? Narcissists are all paranoid and feel like everyone is out to get them, but the female narcissist once again will make these fears known because she can use them to her advantage of being the damsel in distress. Again, this is usually not for the masses, but targeted individuals for whatever reason.
Also, she may share or concoct traumatic childhood events, or other traumatic life experiences to intensify her distress and gain sympathy.
