3. It’s how human beings are wired.
People fall in love and they can have a love that lasts the rest of their lives. Even if you don’t like somebody, you may still love them, and that could be painful and hard to comprehend. Another piece here is that people sometimes seem better from a distance. So again, I think this is the way people are wired.
We tend to miss people when we’re away from them, and when we have them back, we realize why we left in the first place. So distance itself could be a factor the separation itself may explain why there are feelings of love.

4. The traits that they have led to feelings of love.
The fourth reason is the traits that they have led to feelings of love because those traits are unaffected by narcissism. I talked about how some of the traits of narcissism can lead to feeling loved, while some other traits that they have can also lead to feelings of love, even if they’re not tied in with that narcissistic component.
For example, some narcissists have an incredible sense of humor, seemingly detached from many of the undesirable characteristics of narcissism. Some are great listeners, some make you feel like they’re thinking about you all the time, and a narcissist could be physically attractive. And physical attraction can’t be underestimated. It’s the largest single component of attraction regardless of gender.
Now around this, there’s this theory that narcissists are actually more attractive, so it’s not just that a narcissist could happen to be physically attractive, but there’s a tendency to be more physically attractive. And this theory really says that this occurs because the narcissist puts more effort into looking attractive. They require excessive admiration, so they get admiration by making themselves look more appealing.
