4. Gray matter deficit.
Studies show that narcissists have a gray matter deficit, and this affects how they process information. Meaning that a narcissist accepts a feeling, a sense, an intuition as a fact, this is why you can literally put evidence in front of them and they’ll deny it with great conviction.
5. Impaired empathy.
Narcissists don’t care how their behavior affects other people, so suggesting they change their behavior because it’s harmful to you, to their children, or to other family members, simply does it resonate with a narcissist. They could care less.
So, what happens when you are unaware of the nature of a narcissist, and you’re misled by their false persona to believe that they’re approachable, and you ask them to change their behavior so that they can meet your needs?
